My story

What if every breakthrough began with a question? What if the impossible was simply the next step in a journey? I’m not waiting for answers—I’m out there creating them.

As a high school senior, I’m bringing ideas to life that could transform how we live and work. My current endeavors? An APAP device to enhance sleep therapy and a clinostat for plant growth research that’s pushing the boundaries of what's possible in science. These aren’t just ideas—they’re the foundation for something bigger.

But technology isn’t my only canvas. I also teach Computer Science at BPA (Blind People's Association), where I get to inspire the next generation. From preparing for robotics competition to reviving a school mates’ malfunctioning drone, I’m all about helping others unlock their potential.

Where do I go from here? Straight toward the future—where AI and robotics solve real-world problems in healthcare. Because I don’t believe in waiting for change—I believe in making it happen.

Automatic Positive Airway Pressure (APAP) Device

Designed and developed a low-cost APAP system to assist individuals with sleep apnea. Integrated pressure and flow sensors with a motor controlled via Arduino to dynamically adjust air pressure based on real-time breathing patterns. Focused on closed-loop feedback, sensor calibration, and user comfort.

Clinostat for Plant Growth Experiments

Built a working model to simulate microgravity by rotating biological samples, enabling studies on how plants & cells respond to altered gravitational conditions. Designed with a focus on precise rotation, durability, and adaptability for future biological experiments. Awarded the Nagarathna Memorial Grant of ₹15,000 to explore more.

AI-Based Mental Health App

Developed an AI-driven mobile app using MIT App Inventor to provide mental health support. Integrated mood tracking, AI chat for introspection & a therapist-like assistant powered by ChatGPT API. Emphasized accessibility, user privacy & emotional well-being for teens and young adults

Drone Development in School

Contributed to the design, assembly, and testing of a multi-rotor drone as part of a collaborative school project. Involved in hardware integration, flight stability testing, and controller programming. The project emphasized hands-on STEM learning, aerodynamics, and teamwork.

Secured Communication Using Light Polarization

Created a prototype system for transmitting binary messages using polarized light to demonstrate principles of secure optical communication. Designed custom polarizer setups and receivers to decode signals, ensuring message confidentiality.

Bioengineering Programming Intern – Tusker AI/Sahana Motors

Worked on EEG-based sleep monitoring as part of a biomedical engineering project. Developed programs to acquire EEG signals, preprocess data, and detect potential sleep apnea events. Focused on real-time data handling and signal analysis, contributing to the development of a non-invasive diagnostic tool.

Bhavi Vigyanik Karyakram (BhaViKa) – Residential program by ISRO and GujCost

8-day residential training program conducted by GujCost (Gujarat Council of Science and Technology) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) together. There were lectures by eminent scientists from ISRO, PRL (Physical Research Laboratory) and IPR (Institute of Plasma Research). Visits were also arranged to associated labs .

JUN 2024

Virtual Internship in Space Flight Mechanics – StarLabs

30-day project-based training focused on astrodynamics and space mission design. As Team Leader, I coordinated and executed group projects involving rocket launch trajectory design, orbit-raising maneuvers, and lunar landing simulations. Utilized NASA’s GMAT software to model and analyze complete space missions, gaining hands-on experience in orbital mechanics, mission planning & problem-solving.

Computer Software Instructor at Blind People Association

For almost 3 years now, I’ve been teaching Computer Science to 10th and 12th-grade students at the Blind People’s Association (BPA). This ongoing journey has been deeply meaningful, allowing me to support inclusive learning and promote digital literacy among visually impaired students. It's an experience that continues to shape my perspective on accessibility and education.

Spreading Sleep Apnea awareness among the sociaty

Through my recent projects focused on respiratory health and sleep quality, I’ve become passionate about spreading awareness of sleep apnea. By combining data science and biomedical engineering, I aim to contribute to early detection and improved management of this underdiagnosed condition that affects millions globally.

PICKLING & COOKING

Cooking is my creative outlet—and pickling, a favorite hobby! I enjoy experimenting with traditional recipes and flavors, often blending local ingredients with a scientific twist to explore food preservation and fermentation techniques

Sports have always played an important role in my life. Whether it's badminton, swimming, chess, etc. helps me maintain focus, discipline & healthy balance between mind & body. I am also proud to be recognized at the district level in badminton.
